About Chris Ingram
Straightforward Accounting, No Jargon
Chris Ingram founded Ingram Accounting to give Ontario business owners and individuals something that's surprisingly hard to find: an accountant who explains things clearly, responds when you reach out, and treats your business like it matters, because it does.
Based in Guelph, Chris works with clients across the province entirely online, combining the personal attention of a small local practice with the flexibility of virtual service.

Background
Chris has been running Ingram Accounting Services since 2019, preparing T1 personal and T2 corporate income tax returns and providing day-to-day bookkeeping for small business clients using QuickBooks Online. His work includes GST/HST remittance consulting, expense tracking, year-end bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Before launching Ingram Accounting, Chris spent over a decade in accounting and financial roles, including as an Accounting Clerk at Eston Manufacturing in Guelph and at Danby Appliances, and as a Credit Analyst managing accounts receivable at Day & Ross. That background across manufacturing, appliances, and logistics gives him a practical understanding of how small and mid-sized businesses actually operate day to day, not just how their books should look on paper.
How We Work
Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a contract. We take the time to understand your business, your goals, and where your books currently stand, then build a plan around that, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all package.
Because everything is handled virtually, you get:
- Secure document sharing and e-signing, no in-person drop-offs needed.
- Scheduled video or phone check-ins that fit your calendar.
- Direct email or phone access to Chris, not a support ticket queue.
Our Approach
- Clarity first. You should understand your own numbers, not just receive them.
- Proactive communication.Deadlines and issues get flagged early, not discovered late.
- Built for small business reality.Advice that fits how small businesses actually operate, not textbook theory.
